Today I had the pleasure of interviewing Billy Gene, the founder and CEO of Billy Gene Is Marketing Inc. - A top-ranked agency & educational hub for digital advertising and customer acquisition. He has also spoken on dozens of the most well-known stages in front of tens of thousands of people and ranked in 2019 & 2020's “Inc 5000: The Most Successful Companies In America”.
His definition of luxury is Freedom: Doing what he wants.
His brand is free. He says what’s on his mind. He does what he believes is right. His worst nightmare is having to walk on eggshells around others, and he really values open communication.
He didn’t even graduate from university because he felt his freedom being threatened.
We also dove into his core values:
1. Fun
2. Safety and protection of loved ones
3. Impact
To bring fun into his workplace, he really prioritizes morning huddles, compliment circles, and mini challenges that revolve around fun.
He is always thinking how he can be entertaining. Anyone can teach something, but to be entertaining so that others actually remember what you’re saying is a true skill.
