A follow up question asked by Michael Smith (@msmith159 on Twitter) and he again reiterated his involvement. Personally, I'd like to see Billy Zane involved in some form as an actor in the Wheel of Time show, but that remains to be seen.
For what it's worth, Rafe Judkins has disputed the claim that Billy Zane will be reprising his role as Ishamael back in Dec 2018. But we still wanted to put this out there so that it can be known we aren't making this up. And who knows, maybe it was true at the time, but things can change quickly in Hollywood.
