You know those dreams, the ones where you’re watching a movie you really really love, except your favorite character is played by a different actor, and the plot has changed, and the soundtrack sounds like owls hissing and there’s a strange figure glaring at you in the background of every single shot? Cecil experiences something like that in this week’s episode of Welcome to Night Vale, except the owls sound like hydraulic lifts. And he’s pretty sure the man in the background is his dad.
