Jack and Law have decided it’s time to narrow down exactly what it is that’s holding the Strain back from being a great show. The vamps and their stingers are cool, vamp-slaying Fray is badass, and even Eff is coming into his own. Everything else is starting to bother us. Everything. There’s a great premise here but being held back by coocki-cutter characters and cliche bullshit that comes along with shitty writers trying to make this story acceptable to the general viewing audience. This show doesn’t have it’s own voice yet and we’re worried it will never find it. Enough ranting, listen to the commentary to hear what we’re talking about.
