One of our first goals that we set for Patreon was to record select episodes of The Wire seasons 1 and 2.  Last month or so we reached that goal and began scheduling the episodes and recording times when we realized we had a problem.  The show is too dense to only pick a few episodes without missing the big picture when it comes to story and character arcs.  As Detective Lester Freamon says, "all the pieces matter", and by skipping episodes you're missing vital moments in a character's journey.

Every Thursday we'll drop a new commentary of The Wire on BingeMedia.net.  This week we start at the beginning, season 1 episode 1 "The Target".
