We all know the history of WW2 and the holocaust but we often forget that there are individual stories from each person who endured that horrible time. Our next guest, Paulette Dorflaufer came to America on the Queen Elizabeth after being adopted by an American Jewish family. Paulette who seemed to live a normal life came to learn that she was one of 10 siblings, her father was taken in 1943 in January to Camp Drancy, transported to Lublin Ghetto and taken to Camp Sobibor where he was scarce’d. Paulette will talk about the intimate details of what life was like learning about her past and how her siblings hid from Gestapo’s and had to fight for their lives.
