This difference has led to an extreme difference in socio-political organization which has deeply affected the lives of billions. Today, the West has adopted many Eastern religious beliefs, after the cultural revolutions of the 20th century, which has manifested in emergent Western bureaucratic & academic systems. This adoption has also affected how people live their lives, causing many to pursue transhuman ascendance into a world of abstraction.
