A university student makes the desperate and radical decision to alter his brain to enhance his learning ability. During his search, he finds a biohacker who tells him about a gene modification of dubious origin. Without researching it further, he produces and injects the hack using a home CRISPR kit, only to discover too late that it has a deeper purpose.
