A conversation with Dr. Lisa Smelser, Biotechnology Programs director at Central Carolina Community College.  The discussion focuses on various bioscience companies in (or coming to) Central North Carolina and the types of jobs available from these companies.  In particular, a discussion on the BioWork program at CCCC highlights an opportunity for students to prepare for work as a process technician by taking an eight- or sixteen-week course.
