This message of comfort from Pastor Benke lets the hearer know that God who cares for each bird in the sky cares all the more for us.  God knows all, which is a hard concept to take in.  But above all, God cares.  

In the same way a birdbath brings God's creatures to wash and drink, we were brought by grace to be baptized, washed in the water that brings eternal life.  And Jesus, who says, come to me, all who thirst and I will give you to drink, has led us to the spring that never runs dry in His love.

For those suffering under the COVID-19 virus and all that it prevents in terms of human contact, the message gives comfort - God still and always cares!
