Birth stories are often filled with mixed emotions—amazing, funny, suspenseful, and sometimes even tragic. Whether we've witnessed a birth or heard the stories, they all impact us. In our Christmas series, Birth Stories, we'll explore how the births we experience today connect with the birth of Jesus in the Gospels, celebrating the joy and hope that came with His arrival. This week, Rob shares his and Denise's adoption story of their two daughters. Their journey of infertility and adoption shaped much of their relationships with God. They also reflect on Elizabeth's birth story that you find in the beginning of the book of Luke. In all of this, there is an encouragement to wait on the Lord, or to depend on the Lord, because He is dependable.
