If I've said it once I've said it (and will keep saying it) a thousand times: BIRTH IS AS SAFE AS BIRTH CAN BE. And majority of the time, it goes off without a hitch! But what about those of us with different stories? What about those of us who are the rare exceptions? We who's experiences are denied in order to try and save face within the birth community? Let's be REAL about birth: TRAUMA CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE! And we aren't doing this sister wound any favors by silencing, shaming and blaming those of us who do experience birth trauma at home.
