Today we welcome our first guest to Birthing Better Law’s: Are You Informed. Sarah is a mom who had two traumatic births both complicated by shoulder dystocia, one which left her daughter with permanent injury.

In this episode we dive into her experience with birth trauma and birth injuries, talked about the lasting effects of birth trauma, learned about Sarah’s healing journey as well as her daughter’s growth and achievements.

This episode is raw, it’s real, and it’s vulnerable. With this being BPI Awareness week, I hope that Sarah’s story can provide comfort for other mothers who have experienced a traumatic birth or who have a child with a birth injury.
