Born on this day in 1937 and turning 82 today is Dawn Fraser, Australian freestyle champion swimmer. She is one of only three swimmers to have won the same Olympic individual event three times - in her winning the women's 100 metre freestyle in Melbourne 1956, Rome 1960 and Tokyo 1964.
