Born on this day in 1948 and turning 71 today is Greg Chappell, one of Australia's greatest ever Test batsmen and captains. He scored over 7,000 runs in 87 Tests wearing the Baggy Green and in 2009 was was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.
