Mias fortælling er en rejse ind i at lytte til og forstå de stemmer der guider os gennem livet. Efter to meget forskellige fødsler, der efterlader en masse mentalt arbejde og en følelse af noget helt essentielt der skal heales, både i hende selv og i den familie der vokser finder baby Luna vej til Mia med vigtig viden om hvordan man kan ændre livet til at lytte efter magien
Mette starter sin rejse som mor med et unødvendigt kejsersnit. Det bliver fundamentet for en lang rejse, der langt fra er slut. En rejse ind i kvindekroppens styrke og kampen for at skabe rammerne til at føde i egen kraft.
Det er en fortælling der berører vreden over at være blevet udsat for et unødvendigt indgreb
Oplevelsen leder hende mange steder hen, bl.a til en hjemmefødsel med andet barn og et utrætteligt arbejde som fødselshjælper med kvinder og familier, der ønsker at føde på egne præmisser

Ayoes rejse som menneske, kvinde og mor gennem tre graviditeter, fødsler og efterfødselsforløb er en rejse ind i sig selv.
Den krop Ayoe føder med holder alle sandhederne. Men rejsen med at finde ro til at lytte til den er lang og insisterende
Den kvinde hun var en gang er længe om at få rum i tid og krop til at blive sørget over er forsvundet for evigt.
Og det narrativ som hende og mange af os vokser op med kommer fuldstændigt til kort og gennem tre meget stærke og tydelige fødsler
I dag arbejder Ayoe selv med at hjælpe kvinder med at finde ind i den sandhed
Pernille føder første barn på hospitalet og bløder efterfølgende mere end normalt. Da hun så skal føde igen leder hun næsten hele graviditeten på den støtte hun havde brug for til at føde hjemme. Barnet har signaleret meget stærk hvordan han vil fødes, hjemme i vand i ro.
Anden fødsel kommer til at foregå præcis som barnet har vist hende og ved tredje barn er Pernille fuldstændigt klar til at føde helt i ro og ved egen kraft
Det klarer jeg da bare lige. Tænker Maria gennem sin første graviditet, hvor hun studerer til jordemoder. At være gravid som studerende gør hende rustet til de kampe der måske skal kæmpes når hun skal føde, tænker hun.
Men virkeligheden viser sig at føles helt anderledes når man selv står i fødsel, med veer og vandafgang gennem længere tid.
Ronjas fødsel er en lang rejse ind i at finde fast grund under sine egne fødder.
Ønsket om at have en lotusfødsel presser hende til at træffe beslutning om at skifte hospital - under fødslen.
Det er en fortælling om at se sig om efter støtte og ikke blive mødt der hvor man har allermest brug for, både af fagfolk omkring sig og af sine nærmeste.
(NB: Ronja fortæller at Benjamin får en infektion og grunden er fødslen har varet så længe. En af grundene til at fødslen varede så længe var netop pga den læge der ikke ville støtte parret i en lotusfødsel og derfor fik Ronja til at skifte hospital undervejs)
Sarah fortæller om to meget forskellige fødsler af tre børn. Efter at være blevet gravid i en følsom og rodløs tid åbner sig en verden hvor faren for at føde for tidligt pga to babyer i maven ender med at skygge for at kroppen trives og ikke begynder at lave veer det ene normale døgn man får til at føde som tvillinggravid.
Sarahs fortælling væver sig ind i kampen for at finde sig selv, at være hjemme i sig selv og skifte mellem at stole på kroppen og miste sig selv. Den ekstra omsorg det i første omgang ligner når man er i en risikogruppe som senere udvikler sig til kontrol og mistillid får Sarah til at træffe et radikalt valg i sin anden fødsel.
Elenas fortælling leder i en labyrint tilbage til fødslen af hende selv og igennem samtaler med sin mor kommer hun på en rejse ind i hvad det vil sige at skabe plads til at kunne have tillid til at kunne føde. Rejsen tilbage og ind i sig selv, endda før hun selv er født giver hende nye billeder og ord til at heale både sig selv om den fødsel hun skulle igennem for at havne her hvor hun skal træffe valg for hvordan hun vil føde.
Elena går de skridt hun bliver ledt på og træffer valg om at tage ansvar for alt hvad hun støder på. Selv da det kommer til at føde helt fri, uden den jordemoder hun troede kunne være der for hende. Men som hun måtte lade gå da labyrinten ledte hende videre
(OBS - optagelserne starter midt i vores samtale da jeg havde problemer med udstyr så der mangler lidt af fortællingen)
Nanna går ind i sin første graviditet med en meget stærk følelse af at vide hvad der er intuitivt rigtig for hende. Hun elsker at være gravid og glæder sig til at planlægge sin hjemmefødsel. Hun er den første i sin omgangskreds der skal være mor men det nye bliver mødt med en åbenhed og ligefremhed der viser hende vejen.
Så rammer nedlukningen af samfundet, hjemmefødslerne bliver suspenderet og hun ender med at takke ja til en igangsættelse på hospitalet som føles helt forkert i kroppen.
Lyt med når Nanna dykker ned i hvordan det er når krop og sind er tvunget i forskellige retninger.
At skabe plads, først i sig selv, til det bløde for at kunne blive mor er fortællingen fra Fie om at være vokset op med at skulle klare den. Det er fortællingen om at bryde det panser der handler om kontrol og at skulle løbe stærk for at "klare den". Fie beskriver hvordan hun måtte skabe plads til det bløde, det sted hvor der er plads til at være åben og modtagende gennem en vild og smuk første fødsel hvor hun havde en ældre og beskyttende kvinde ved sig, der lod hende bryde fri i det tempo hun havde brug for.
I de efterfølgende graviditeter og fødsler, Fie er mor til tre, tog hun turen videre og måtte skabe plads til omgivelserne også til at rumme hvordan hendes familie og hendes valg havde brug for plads til det bløde og åbne
