In the years I lived in the Denver area I tried finding local bands that I would enjoy.  Metal wasn't in the scene at all.  Over the years bands have started popping up and now Colorado has, what I feel, to be a decent metal scene going on.  Most bands that I've found formed about 2006 or later, about a year after I moved away. Goes to figure.

Colorado boasts some relatively well known acts these days like Allegaeon, Khemmis, Havok, and Cephalic Carnage.  We'll look at a few of the lesser known bands making some great music.  This is by no means a complete list.  It's just a few bands I've found and enjoy.  Thank you to all the bands that let me play their music!
