hello gorgeous people of the internet and a big warm hearty welcome for the new year it's the 3rd of january do you feel sort of in it already or still as if we've kind of just been reborn and relaunched but that's how i'm feeling today i guess it's because i've started uh a new investment portfolio and that's probably made me feel rather um excited i guess for the future but also there are there are some other things i've really decided to stop rushing and i think that's been fatal and the the run-up towards christmas this is sort of uh rushing um sense even if you're even if you've got your presence bought and you know what you're doing well the problem was of course we didn't know what we were doing did we because of lockdown restrictions or the possibility of them and i think that was worse i actually think that not knowing if we're going to be in lockdown is way worse than knowing knowing you can really hello darling it's my little persian baby there when you know what's happening it really gives you a sense of um you know well it just helps you relax a bit doesn't it now having said that my investments in bitcoin and ethereum are relatively unknown because you know we can't predict the market ever we can only go on what we hope to occur and what and what we can guess and it's very much like gambling i would say well my my bitcoin i've left my bitcoin today i'm not going to do anything with it i'm not going to increase my stake but i i looked at the ethereum and because i'm dealing in um nfts which are um you know thing arty farty things really that's what i'm dealing in um and you buy and sell those with ethereum amongst other things um i'm quite interested to build up a little bit of an ethereum nest deck so that i can buy new artworks at some point and i haven't done it yet and the reason i haven't done it yet is because there are gas charges and the gas charges are sometimes quite hefty even when you start off so i'm and the reason that they're hefty is because there are things happening down the line that have to be recorded and there's a lot of data and you've got to pay for it there are questions about the eco

the the sensitivity to ecological issues in all of this activity i predict there are going to be changes about uh how things are stored now i i watched uh some dude from microsoft the other day and i say dude because i've joined a blokey um site i'll tell you about that in a minute and they they call me bro and dude they don't know i'm a woman they don't know i'm nearly 60. i was all very amusing anyway i saw this dude and he was talking about he's from microsoft and they were talking about the possibility of storing data uh storage facilities underwater in in cold climates and i'm writing this sci-fi novel obviously immersion which is my online novel you can go and listen and watch every day and i thought well that's that sounds such a good idea and then i wonder what if they have eventually millions of these data things will it warm up the water i mean the energy has to go somewhere doesn't it and then what would happen to the the you know the suckers and wildlife and the weird things that they get down there i suppose they'd have some sort of water warming and they wouldn't be able to live anymore or would they adapt i started to think about all these things oh goodness me anyway for the moment i'm you know i i was obviously involved in eco fam and i'm involved with the rsa the foresay and we're very concerned with eco matters and it's you know i am thinking about it a lot as i as i put up my um you know my artworks onto the nft network over at openc i'm thinking oh am i using loads of energy i don't know how it compares with buying a piece of artwork where lots of people have been involved in the production of the artwork the selling of the artwork in a gallery in a gallery situation when you start touching up man hours and petrol hours and heating hours and you know if you've bought an...
