Join Professor Chris as he welcomes another fantastic panel to the Total Value Locked (TVL) show from Beacon DeFi. Today's panel featured rotating panelist Luke, Head of Growth at Taoshi, Bittensor subnet #8, THE Proprietary Trading Network, and our featured guest is the Founder of Taofu and building the TAO Private Network, Mikel.
We covered multiple topics in this episode:
- We talk about the ramifications of the US's GENIUS ACT coming out of the Senate to the House and essentially, the effect that it will have on Stablecoins and their usage
- Tether now owns more T-Bills than Germany
- Bittensor EVM partners and connects to Layer Zero for cross-chain interoperability

We also then interviewed Mikel from Taofu about how they got started, how the TAO Private Network is architected and how it will work as a Bittensor-powered VPN application, and we also talked about Taofu (Subnet #65) and their goal to create a mechanism for smaller subnets to raise liquidity without needing to sell their alpha tokens, a valuable tool for them.
