I hate going to the dentist, but I'll just have to bite the bullet.
I decided I had to bite the bullet and take a couple of math classes even though I knew they were hard.
bite off more than you can chew
to try to do something that is too difficult for you
I think he's bitten off more than he can chew taking all those classes.
Many kids who leave home to live alone find they have bitten off more than they can chew.
