Our minds not only keep our bodies functioning, but they're also slick little suckers who do what they have to do to protect us. Or what they THINK they need to do to protect us. And sometimes that helps us - and other times - it may create more angst and pain because often, we may not simply remember. But our subconscious mind does, and our body does.
