How often do you put yourself first? Like, ahead of your To-Do lists, the day job, your partner, your kids, family, etc.?
Annnnd...how often do you put yourself last? Or if not totally last, you seem to always land pretty freakin' low on that totem pole?
When we consistently rank ourselves low on our own priority lists, what are we telling ourselves?
That maybe we don't matter as much as...
The day job, and whatever email, phone call, meeting is MUY IMPORTANTE at that moment in time?
Our partner and/or our kids?
Someone else's comfort?
But why? You're here, right? You exist. So therefore, you matter. So it's time to start acting like it.
And I get it. There's going to be those moments where you have to make concessions. You're likely not always going to be in the #1 spot, but I would say you should always rank somewhere in the Top 3.
So find something that you consistently do that puts you and your needs, desires and/or wants last, and change it up a bit.
Because you matter. You wouldn't be here if you didn't.
