The narrative of Ruth and Naomi in Ruth 1 is an incredible picture of the gospel. What are we to do when we are mired in the lowest of situations, circumstances and sin? What are we to think when we cannot feel God or hear Him? we do not abandon, we trust. He is faithful. There is hope. His name is Jesus.
