Three years ago today Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister marking a historic shift in India politics as the BJP came to power with a huge majority. The last three years have seen Mr Modi consolidate his and his party's position in the political landscape and after the huge win in UP this year their sights are now firmly set on 2019. Amit Shah said as much today, making it clear that the BJP's mission was to cross the current tally of 282 in the next election.
