At 450 pounds the thought of doing exercise can be challenging. Any typical exercise meant for someone smaller can have a negative impact on me physically if I go too hard. Jump rope would be fine if I smaller and bike riding is a matter of finding the right seat. The most fluid workout thou? Pretending your a Jedi in a nightclub with Bear Saber via the Oculus VR 2 Headset.
No that wasn't an ad - just a description of what I'm talking about.
Is my life supposed to be easier because I'm light-skinned? I don't think so. Black Culture seems fascinated by this idea that I fit into mainstream America because I look and sound like them. I disagree.

My name is Matthew Milam and this is Black and Confused.
This podcast will explore my journey into figuring out who the hell I am and being content with that. I am not seeking happiness as that is a temporary emotion. I am just looking for the ability to look in the mirror and not imagine I'm someone else who isn't embarrassed with his life or his life choices. Here is the first episode of that and what you can hope to expect.
I hope you come along for the ride.
