QPS172 got too many separate situations landing on the same damn questions: student safety, family trust, communication, accountability—and what happens AFTER somebody says they “looked into it.”
In this episode, Blazin’ Jae follows the receipts through Denman, Iles, Bus 40/74, STEP/PECT funding, district finances, and the bigger question of whether protecting an institution is being confused with protecting the people inside it.
Verified facts stay facts. Allegations stay allegations. And where Jae got an opinion? Oh, you gon know that too.
Some of these stories are still moving, so this episode is a snapshot of what was known at recording. Any meaningful verified updates after release will be added to this episode’s Facebook post—the living update page for STOP THE HARM.
The point ain’t to destroy QPS.
The point is simple:
When children are involved, STOPPING THE HARM has to be the priority.
WHAT other side? 🤨
Apparently, being a PRO-Black woman married to a white man means I “switched sides.”
But...what side did I switch from?
In S1E10, I’m talking colorism, interracial relationships, fetishization, cultural respect, and why loving somebody outside your race does not automatically mean rejecting your own.
I’m also getting into what it meant growing up hearing I was “too dark,” why your partner should actually LIKE the person you are, and why “I don’t see color” ain’t nearly as progressive as some of yawl think it is.
Plus: GAWL PATROL is citing the self-appointed Relationship Race Referees, we’re doing The Whole-Me Relationship Audit, and during SMOKIN’ & JOKIN’...I got a lil warning for Black women considering that damn swirl. 😂
Love who loves alladat.

BLACK, BLESSED, & BLUNT with Blazin’ Jae
Some of Us Ain’t Out Here Playin’.
Friendship breakups don’t stop hurting just because the friendship stopped working.
In this listener-requested follow-up to FRIEND OR FAUX?, Blazin’ Jae moves past whether the friendship should’ve ended—we already been over that—and gets into what happens AFTER it does.
How do you handle public run-ins, mutual friends, shared spaces, old pictures, and a social media algorithm determined to show you everybody you intentionally stopped fuckin’ with? What if you miss them? What if the ending was your fault?
From accountability and apologies to boundaries and reconciliation, ENDships is about learning how to exist in the same damn world without reopening a door that needed to close.
Because an apology does not entitle you to reconciliation—and you can miss them without calling them.
Stay PRO-Black. Count AWL yo' Blessings. And always keep a Blunt handy…
Some of us ain’t out here playin’!
Errbody you laugh with ain’t your friend—and sometimes life has to put the relationship under pressure before the faux reveals itself.
In this episode, Blazin’ Jae breaks down why history ain’t the same as friendship, why support shouldn’t be seasonal, what reciprocity really looks like, and why a real friend can correct you without becoming your enemy. We’re talking jealousy disguised as friendship, one-sided relationships, friendship breakups, accountability, and knowing when somebody’s access to your life has expired.
Then Gawl Patrol issues a citation for FELONY FRIENDSHIP FRAUD, Makin’ It Math puts us through a full Friendship Audit, and Smokin’ & Jokin’ revisits a MySpace-era bestie breakup—and the ridiculous loyalty tests social media keeps convincing grown folks to perform.
Follow the show, leave a rating or review, and send this episode to a REAL friend.
Not the faux one. We ain’t starting no shit today.
Explicit language. Grown-folk conversation.
Some of yawl visitor passes done EXPIRED 😭🚫
In this episode of BLACK, BLESSED, & BLUNT, Blazin’ Jae is talking boundaries, entitlement, reciprocity, and why knowing somebody forever does not come with lifetime VIP access.
We’re breaking down the difference between VIP Access, General Admission, Parking-Lot Access, and Banned From the Premises—because access should match effort.

💨 And Smokin’ & Jokin’ asks whether some of yawl are really “protecting your peace”…or just avoiding accountability 👀
Protect your peace. Check your own behavior. And stop handing out VIP passes to people giving you parking-lot effort.
SOME OF US AIN’T OUT HERE PLAYIN’! 🔥
Sometimes the first lie ain’t what somebody tells us—it’s what we tell ourselves.
In S1E6, Blazin’ Jae clears the smoke, faces the mirrors, and calls manipulation by name: love bombing, gaslighting, guilt trips, weaponized incompetence, fake apologies, victim-playing, and those goofy relationship “tests” the internet keeps encouraging.
This episode is about accountability without shame, trusting consistent behavior, praying for discernment instead of preferred outcomes, and letting your boundaries do the talking.
Plus, Smokin’ & Jokin’ gets an extra-special Freedom Sesh twist as Jae crowns this week’s competitors in the Manipulation Olympics.
Healing ain’t about never getting fooled again—it’s about recognizing it sooner!
Welcome to the games...where the competition is fierce, but the entitlement is fiercer.
This week, Blazin' Jae hands out gold, silver, and bronze medals to the folks whose unearned confidence, inconsistency, and brazen audacity deserve international recognition.
From people who expect VIP access simply because they've known you forever, to those demanding respect they've never shown, we're calling out the behaviors that leave us all asking, "Who she think she is? Chelsea Clinton?"
As always, we'll make our way through The Unmitigated Gall, Catch These Holy Hands, Woods of Wisdom, Makin' It Math, Smokin' & Jokin', and The Q-Town Lowdown—because we don't just identify the problem...we talk about how to fix it.
If you've ever dealt with one-sided relationships, entitled family members, inconsistent friends, or people who think your boundaries don't apply to them...
This episode is for you!
What does it really mean to be "soft"—and were Black women ever given the chance?
This week, Blazin' Jae unpacks the difference between healing and survival, challenging the narrative that strength and femininity can't coexist. From hyper-independence and emotional armor to relationship expectations and the pressures placed on Black women, this conversation is equal parts honest, humorous, and thought-provoking!
Plus, we're serving up The Unmitigated Gall, handing out Holy Hands, taking a stroll through the Woods of Wisdom, Makin' It Math, lighting up for Smokin' & Jokin', and showing love to the community with the Q-Town Lowdown!
Surviving may have gotten you here...but healing is what takes you further!
Church hurt is real—but it doesn't have to be the end of your faith.
In this episode of Black, Blessed, & Blunt, Blazin' Jae tackles the difficult conversation around church hurt, spiritual manipulation, and the difference between religion and a genuine relationship with God. From weaponized Scripture to healing after betrayal, this episode offers honesty, hope, and practical steps toward spiritual restoration.
Because while people may misrepresent God, they'll never replace Him!
S1E2: Too Healed to Entertain Foolishness
Healing changes your standards—and not everybody gets to come with you.
This week, Blazin' Jae and Shack unpack toxic relationships, fake friendships, unhealthy family dynamics, and the importance of protecting your peace. From setting boundaries to recognizing manipulation, they're keeping it real with humor, honesty, and a little holy smoke along the way.
If you've ever been told you've "changed," this episode is for you... because sometimes growth means leaving foolishness exactly where you found it.
