Shanikua Brown is an author, ghostwriter, and writing coach. She specializes in helping CEOs get clear on their book ideas so that they can confidently write and complete their book. When Shanikua first started writing, she loved writing urban and romance fiction books, which she wrote under her pen name, SMB. Later, pivoting into writing fiction books, she knew that she had to help other black women share their stories. As she started writing her own books, she saw how the black writing community was slim to none and other communities didnt welcome black authors the way she wanted black authors to be celebrated, helped and seen. So she set out to start Blk Grl Athr which is a community for black women aspiring authors.
