On this episode we discuss a poem entitled, "Black Girl" that was written by Cassie Henderson.  The poem talks about how a black girl views herself from her hair, facial features to skin tone.  It goes on to talk about how black girls need to get comfortable in their own skin.  Remember this is from the viewpoint of a 12 year old.

She then wrote another poem talking about how important it is for kids to listen to their parents.
