The Black Girls Missing series is in support of the Michigan State Police, Detroit’s 1-800-SPEAKUP, the Black and Missing Foundation, Inc., NamUs (the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System under the Department of Justice), and the FBI’s Kidnapping & Missing Persons database in their efforts to bring awareness to missing people of color, to educate our communities, and to help bring them home, bring closure to their loved ones, and to help them to seek justice. There is no statute of limitations on abduction/kidnapping/murder.
