For Black History Month, we are continuing our small episodic pieces recognizing Black Americans past and present and how they have contributed to the success of America and the entire world today. 

Today we are paying tribute to some Activists and some Civil Rights Leaders who had a lasting impact on the lives of all oppressed people, and fought against social injustice.
