Yesterday marked the anniversary of the late anti-apartheid hero Okgopotse Abram Tiro’s death. He was killed in Botswana in 1974 by a letter bomb where he was after fleeing the apartheid government forces who were pursuing freedom fighter. Tiro, who was killed at the age of 28, had been a student leader.
