Black History Month is here, and what better way to celebrate than by highlighting the incredible contributions of Black and Brown folks in politics? This month is a great opportunity to recognize those who have paved the way for progress.
Join us as we talk with Tawayne McGee, the great nephew of Virgil E. Brown, a notable figure in our community. Tawayne, a former candidate for City Council and State Representative, will share how politics has shaped his life and why civic engagement is so important. He’ll remind us that our voices matter and that we all have a role to play in making a difference.
This conversation is about inspiring us to get involved and continue pushing for justice, equality, and representation. Black History Month is not just about reflecting on the past it's about empowering ourselves for the future.
