Wasted Local Fantasy Football

Black Hole Zion

Listen Later

Black Hole Zion is ready to share a transdimensional experience in support of their album, The Great Repression.  The band operates as a collective unit led by Mark out of the Morgantown, West Virginia area with music that draws influences from heavy rock and punk, electronic, and even classical music.  Lyrically, The Great Repression, is a dense science-fiction concept that touches on time travel, parallel universes, astral projection, and the human condition.  Live performances for this album are high-energy with a heavy science fiction flair.

The live band typically includes Mark on vocals and occasionally guitar/keyboards, Tony on guitar, Michael on bass and backing vocals, and Stan on keyboards and handling other electronics.  They have performed at traditional music venues and also at various sci-fi/horror,  fetish, and gaming events, including Trauma Columbus.  The lead single from The Great Repression, titled, 8-Bit Rage, was recently featured in the video game, Mutant Football League:  Dynasty Edition, as the theme song for the Cracksumskull Jugulars.  The Great Repression is available now as a physical CD with deluxe booklet as well as all major streaming and download platforms.
