Welcome to a Special Episode of The Heart Speaks.

Joining me today for a special roundtable conversation we have fellow distinguished intellectuals; Coleman Hughes, Kmele Foster, and Brittany King.

I wanted to speak to these awesome individuals to get their take on the topic of race, post-2020. But this was not the typical conversation about Black Lives Matter, Critical Race Theory, or even woke ways of being.

This was a conversation rooted in human psychology.

We explore what it means to be in relationship with another human being, what it means to get to know another human being on an intimate level, their idiosyncrasies, their complexity, their uniqueness, and really the importance of practicing the art of relationship. We also explore the question of whether we've become less and less capable of doing that with each other. And if so, how does that impact our conversations on race? How does that make us more likely to caricature each other and stereotype each other?
