Cairo is hitting the road with his Dad and Grandpa to visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington D.C. The family trip was planned for Cairo to learn more about their roots and the history of Black people in America. Except Cairo isn’t too thrilled about going to a “boring” museum. Cairo learns to embrace history as he wrestles with the joys and hardships of being Black in America.
