Not To Be A Bitch, But...

Black Lives Matter, Cops and Lea Michele Do Not, & Teen Pregnancy Makes Points

Listen Later

Brooke, Katie and Bobby gather to record our first episode in person since the pandemic started. We begin by discussing the Black Lives Matter movement in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd, including the shocking amount of misinformation being fed to the public in the midst of peaceful protesting made violent by cops, staged looting and vandalism, and the outpouring of support we've observed from all of our friends. We also talk about Gay Pride being canceled, our wonderful friend and OG listener, Rick, getting married, and reality shows we watched growing up that made us the bad bitches we are today. We also reminisce on learning what sex and blowjobs were in our youth, the unexpected positives of teen pregnancy, and the moments when we received "the talk". We talk about our friends moving away, and delve into the recent drama with Lea Michele making racist micro aggressions towards her Glee costars, and the overwhelming evidence that she is a horrible person. We also talk celebrity encounters at Diz Knee, and look back fondly over old Kendall & Kylie. We also express our disdain for guilty people deactivating their social media in response to Black Lives Matter, people who post Bible verses instead of relevant information, and the way people for whatever reason hold cops and firefighters in the same regard. We close out this week's episode with a list of organizations you can support through donations, petition signings, and more.
