The U.S. Census Bureau reported that 14.6 percent of the United States population is Black or African American. Nationally only seven percent of teachers are Black, and only two percent are Black men. On this episode, I sit down and talk to a professor at James Madison University to discuss why this statistic is true in our nation and what needs to be put in place to increase this percentage in the future.
