This is the first pressing of this classic Phil Spector-produced single, credited simply to "Sonny Charles." Later pressings were credited to "Sonny Charles & The Checkmates," and then subsequent releases by the group were simply by "The Checkmates." The B side is a non-album track. Note: This beautiful copy comes in a vintage A&M Records factory sleeve. The labels have been subject to light storage wear, with a little ink smearing in one spot, grading a strong EX. The vinyl (styrene) looks almost untouched, however, and the audio is pristine Mint. (This scan is a representative image from our archives.)
