Formed in 2013, by vocalist Michael Ashley and guitarist Jason Cotter, Black Sky Tribe basically began as a songwriting team. With the addition of Craig Alspaugh on bass and Patrick Leeson on drums, the band began making waves as great contemporary rock songwriters, almost immediately. Their first Full length CD, 2015’s “Goodbye Blue Sky”, got national airplay on Nashville’s 102.9 The Buzz and Clarksville’s Z-97.5 with singles “Quitting Time,” “My Turn,” and “Until I’m Gone.”
