Jeremiah 31:27-34

If we have a soft heart open to God we need not fear our mistakes, errors, and failures in life because God is willing and ready to give us a new start each and every time.

Like a blackboard, Jesus wipes clean the errors (sin) in our lives so we can begin fresh and God forgets what has gone before because it has been wiped from our lives. Sadly, our hearts are often hardened to God out of pride, fear, or ignorance and it is like writing on a whiteboard with a permanent marker. But, Jesus, and a willing spirit, can once again make our hearts soft so the sin can be wiped away.
