Publisher's Summary:
Chief Warrant Officer Robert Mills enlisted in the U.S. Army on 9/11/2001. Relive the day-to-day experiences with Robert just as he lived them. Robert's daily journal will give you a realistic view from his cockpit. His writings cover the entire spectrum, from the joys of simply receiving mail from home, living in harsh conditions, experiencing frequent enemy attacks, aircraft emergencies, and losing a fellow pilot to making the ultimate decision to pull the trigger to end one life in order to save another.
Members Reviews:
Boring
The audio sample, which peeked my interest turned out to be a small few minutes from the last eleven minutes of the entire audio book. The rest of the book is repetitive boring accounts of the author watching movies, making phone calls home, buying gifts for his children, and the general boring tasks of daily insignificant issues. I buy a lot of audio books but this was a wast of money and time.
Worst Story Ever
Would you try another book from Robert Mills and/or Kelly Klaas?
I will never select a book from this author or narrator.
Would you ever listen to anything by Robert Mills again?
He has two subjects and oh yea, he flies a helicopter in the Army too.
What didnt you like about Kelly Klaass performance?
He could not be anymore monotone. No inflection, no spirit, just one simple tone, boring.
What character would you cut from BLACKDEATH 23?
I would not of published the book
Any additional comments?
Save yourself, this is a horrible story
