God bless America…and "The Reel-ists Podcast"! In episode 66, Oscar and Donnie review the new Spike Lee film "BlacKkKlansman." Out of all the films the duo have discussed and reviewed, this film was definitely one the most "heavy" in terms of subject matter. Both the guys agree that this film takes a look into a very dark time in our nation's history, all while reminding us that even though we've made strides as a nation, we still have such a long way to go. Aside from the important message, Donnie and Oscar were impressed by the performances, notably by John David Washington and Adam Driver.
