After doing a 4-year timeout, Taj-He-Spitz is back making his debut on Blacktop Radio. Merquillo asks Taji how he's grown from a preteen in Yahoo chatrooms to a buzzing artist receiving fanmail from Philadelphia, Canada, and Japan. Taji leaks three singles off his upcoming EP "I Got It" including the title track "I Got It", "Single Girls" and "Big Bank".

"I don't make trend music, I make 'in' music... I just feel like right now I would rather tell you about them problems you got with that welfare office. Or I'd rather tell you about the problems you got with yo baby mama. Or I'd rather tell you bout how you ain't got that money that you be singing along to when you hear that song. But you will get this money, and you will get the benefits and all that if you just give it to God, you know. That's what I came to push. I came to represent the people that's been oppressed instead of joining the oppressors" - Taj-He-Spitz.
