They also discuss how great it was that the show taught children how to deal with your emotions, a touching interaction with a handicapped boy named Jeff Ehrlinger, the infamous week of "Conflict" episodes,how important it is to have someone like Fred Rogers to help process events like the Challenger explosion or 9/11, and ultimately, how he saved PBS.
