Episode 60 features Australian filmmaker Amiel Courtin-Wilson. Amiel has been making films and documentaries his whole life, from his first documentary, Chasing Buddha, which followed his Buddhist nun auntie, to spending almost a decade documenting Jack Charles in Bastardy, and more recently making a film about Robert "Bob" Rosenzweig, capturing the final eight days of his life in Man on Earth.

Amiel speaks on how he got into filmmaking, growing up on Greville St, sacrifice, finding balance, Cecil Taylor, and more.

Episode 59 features Guy Blackman.

Alongside Ben O’Connor, Guy has been one half of Chapter Music. Originally creating the label in Perth in the early '90s, they would go on to be behind countless Australian releases over a 30 year period, putting out music for the likes of The Cannanes, The Goon Sax, Twerps, Dick Diver, Laura Jean, Sweet Whirl, and The Stevens. Today, Ben and Guy have taken a step back from putting out new releases, mainly focusing on compilation albums and reissues. 

On this episode, Guy speaks about the beginnings of Chapter Music, his current day to day, navigating relationships with bands and artists, the state of Australian music, and more.

Episode 58 features Rick Milovanović from Twerps, Boomgates and J. McFarlane’s Reality Guest. Rick is also Creative Director of TRiC, a Melbourne based design studio formed in 2020.

In this chat we speak about his early upbringing in multicultural Melbourne, finding soccer in his youth, the creative spaces he’s moved through, and how Twerps, TRiC and his other endeavours came to life.

Episode 56 features Chris Middlebrook.

Chris has been filming and documenting skate parts and videos for 3 decades now, starting out in Frankston shooting for Blank Clothing, to working with Nike SB and Alien Workshop. Chris would also find himself coaching the Australian Olympic skateboarding team at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, and film various music videos. 

Chris has a new book launching called PAUSE, which showcases all that he has documented over the last 30 years, the book launches at Hillvale Gallery November 28th. In this chat Chris speaks on the creation of PAUSE, going through years of archival videos and stills, how he found his way into filming skate parts, leaving his day job, and more.

Episode 55 features Alex Macfarlane. Alex has played in and been a part of countless bands over the years, including Faceless Burial, The Twerps, The Green Child, The Stevens, and more. He also runs his own independent label, Hobbies Galore, embracing DIY mentality to the core, releasing various of his own solo albums and tapes, as well as records from bands such as The Green Child and Possible Humans.

Episode 52 features bass player Julian Teakle, one half of Tasmania's duo The Native Cats and co owner of independent record label Rough Skies Records.

Julian has played in various bands over the years, such as The Native Cats, The Bad Luck Charms, and The Frustrations, has helped Hobart and Tasmanian bands form and flourish, archived the city’s underground music scenes, put on countless shows, and been a key pillar in sharing and shaping Hobart’s punk and post punk scene.
