Psalm 103 is praise and blessing from start to finish. There are no complaints or petitions or requests. The only command is to “Bless the Lord” – stated 7 times total (3 at the beginning and 4 at the end). It is bookended with orders to bless God, and everything in the middle provides reasons why we should.
