If you are a person who has a disability of some sort, you have most likely been on the receiving end of what we call a "moment of pity." You know, where someone looks at you, sees your "problem" and immediately assumes your life is terrible. At the very least, way worse than their life. So, what do you do in these moments? Well, frustrating as it can be, I think I've got some things to consider the next time someone gives you the line, "Oh, bless your heart!"
