The Apostle begins in verse 14, a new section of his application of the mercies of God in the life of the Christian. He had been dealing with Christian respecting Christians, but now he begins teaching Christians how to behave toward their enemies. It is in the treatment of enemies that Christianity demonstrates its supernaturalism and its superiority to all man-made religion.
