We continue our sermon series, “Glimpses of the Kin-dom” with the first sermon in a three week look at the Sermon on the Mount found in the Gospel of Matthew, chapters 5-7. The Sermon on the Mount spells out the focus of Jesus’ message. The sermon this week focuses on Matthew 5:1-12, the section referred to as The Beatitudes. These are the “blessed are…” statements of Jesus.
