Human nature is natural. So, naturally we may feel that if we give up the rights to our lives to the Living God we might lose out on something. After all, human history has shown just how wise and successful all of humanity has been over the years. Nothing but goodness and outstanding health has been on display for thousands of years non-stop.

Anyone willing to bow to the King and learn from him will have a life that is blessed. Those who bow will begin to live a life separate from this world. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth (Matthew 5:5). This meekness is not weakness. It is strength. It is a supernatural strength because this obedience is connected to the King. And the King becomes connected to all who will bow to him. This is in no way weak and it is not natural.
